For lessons & multi 4week pkg is SAT 9pm before the Thursday HSSKI Day.
For lift and/or rentals is WED 9pm before the Thursday HSSKI Day.

REFUNDS & FEES
HSSKI is for the home education community.
You are welcome to join us if you are a part of any community type below:
homeschooling family,
immediate or extended family of homeschoolers, homeschooling teacher/admin,

independent homeschoolers,
school districts that support homeschooling groups,
online homeschoolers,
Idaho Launch & Start students,

distance education program,
and public online alternative homeschooler.

Order tickets through our website. Once order is complete, you will be emailed a detailed confirmation.
HSSKI tickets are for a specific date & reservation.
Order tickets according to the intended date of attendance.
Choose tickets based on DATE, AGE, TICKET TYPE
Example: Feb 5th Age 7-17 lift, Feb 5th Age 7-17 rental, Feb 5th Age 7-17 4week
Example: Feb 5th Age 18+ lift ticket , Feb 12th Age 18+ lift ticket
Orders must be completed by the deadline before the Thursday HSSKI Day.

ONE Day tickets are single tickets for the specific date. Single Day tickets are valid on the event date only. Please do not order multiple tickets for same person for different dates all on one order, these must be ordered according to the event date.

HSSKI Days are on Thursdays, January-March

Upon check-in lift, lesson & rentals tickets are given.
The Lodge 2 is for open for staying indoors, eating, resting etc. It is a warmed lodge with tables & chairs to sit and relax.
Arrive minimum 1.5 hour before lesson time to allow check-in process and gearing up. If you dont have a lesson, you are welcome to come at early as 8:15am, however, the slopes open at 9am.
No REFUNDS for being late.

REFUNDS
Refunds are not given, however, we can accommodate pushing single day lift & rental tickets ONLY for a future HSSKI Thursday. This does not apply to 4week Multiweek pkgs. No pushing/refunds or changes are given for the 4week Multiweek Pkg.
No refunds for inclement weather as long as Mt Spokane Ski is open, we will be skiing.
TRANACTION FEE
The 1% transaction fee helps offset the expenses associated with running HSSKI i.e. CC processing fee, website, software and taxes. We thank you for understanding.
BE RESPONSIBLE
Always stay in control.
People ahead of you have the right of way.
Stop in a safe place for you and others.
Whenever starting downhill or merging, look uphill and yield. Use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
Observe signs and warnings, and keep off closed trails. Know how to use the lifts safely.
THE HSSKI DAY IS NOT A DROP OFF AND GO. PLEASE STAY ON SITE WITH YOUR CHILDREN.
GEAR 101
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear waterproof jacket & pant, gloves, goggles, balaclava, thin wool socks, base underlay.
ProTip for frigid cold days-
Dress in many layers. (For example, slim fitting base layers + fleece + puffy jacket + ski jacket)
Use Hand and toe warmers
No exposed skin including necks and faces. Use lined balaclavas and fleece neck warmers.
Keep goggles on at all times.
Please wear helmets. They keep in the heat!
Make sure child(ren) feet stay warm and dry prior to putting on their ski boots. Wear wool socks designed for skiing.
Always have hot breakfast and lunches!
LEVEL DESCRIPTION
- Level 1 is a never-ever skier or snowboarder (very beginner)
- Level 2 (beginner) is working on turning and stopping on the magic carpet and maybe on the beginner lift
- Level 3, (Intermediate) has ridden lift, working on stops, turns, speed, and more.
- Level 4, (Advanced) confident skier or snowboarder, advanced skill building
Choose level that best represents student, but instructors may move them if necessary.
DINING
Food services are available for purchase. Items like, salads, soups, burgers, chicken tenders, fries etc.
Open seating in main lodge & garage area.
Cooking in lodges is prohibited.
KEEP STUFF SAFE
Lockers are available in the main lodge for $$ daily rental.
TABLES
Please be hospitable.
Unattended tables will used. Placing your personal items on table does not reserve the table. We share the lodge with all attendees (HSSKI and others). If you find guests sitting at table eating or resting, please be welcoming and share.
ITEMS TO BRING
Reminder of some good ideas to bring… food & snacks, water, googles, helmet, equipment, quality ski socks, gloves, pants & jacket, snow boots, money, ice scraper for car windows. When my kiddos were toddlers, we brought blanket for naptime, toys.
